Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines
Abstract submission for ICHG 2019 is open from Monday 15th April to 5pm on Friday 30th August 2019

Why submit an Abstract?
To showcase your research and receive feedback from your peers
To ensure your work is accessible to the international research community
To gain recognition from your peers; all abstracts are citable and will be published on the Conference website
Who is eligible to submit an Abstract?
Any author working in Hyperemesis Gravidarum research or related fields who has acquired the relevant permissions.
Is there a cost to submit an Abstract?
No, submitting an abstract is free of charge but presenting authors must register and attend the Conference should their abstract be accepted.
Are there any limits in the number of Abstracts an author can submit?
Individuals may submit an unlimited number of abstracts as the main author
Individuals may submit an unlimited number of abstracts as co-authors
Which kind of research can an author submit?
All types of Hyperemesis Gravidarum research are eligible for submission
Case reports are not accepted
What information do i need to submit my abstract?
Full name of the main author and title, name, surname, organisation, city, country of all co-authors (omit department names, divisions, institutes, etc.)
Any disclosures including research funding and conflicts of interest of any listed authors
Confirmation that the research undertaken was approved by an appropriate ethics committee or review board and that, if appropriate, informed consent was obtained for all subjects
For abstracts that have been published before, permissions to re-use the abstract
Permission from all co-authors to submit the abstract
Presentation Method
Abstracts can be submitted for Poster Presentations, Oral Presentations or either
Posters
Presenters will be expected to bring a printed copy of their poster to be displayed in the presentation hall. Printed posters must fit the poster board area, we advise that your poster size is A0, A1 or A2 portrait.
Landscape posters cannot be accommodated.
Handouts cannot be accommodated.
Oral Presentations
Presentations will take place Between 16:10 and 17:00 on 10th October 2019.
Each presenter will be given a 10 minute slot.
Presenting Authors must register
Presenting authors must register for the Conference for a minimum of one day. You must submit your abstract in advance. Please ensure that you have registered and paid the appropriate registration fee by the deadline. Accepted abstracts for which a presenting author has not registered and paid the registration fee will be withdrawn, will not appear in any Conference publication, and will not be presented at the Conference. The deadline for abstract submission is 15th July 2019.
Change of Presenter
Please advise the ICHG team of any substitute presenters by 2nd September. The substitute must register to the Conference.
Amendments and Withdrawals
Requests to amend minor errors such as typos and misspellings, or to withdraw abstracts after the amendments deadline has passed must be submitted by email to ichg@zehg.nl by 2nd September. Please note publication deadlines might be different from this and you will be emailed the details if relevant
