Who are we and what do we do?

The International Collaboration for Hyperemesis Gravidarum Research is a network of patients, researchers, healthcare professionals, and advocates from around the world to improve understanding, treatment, and support for HG. We host biennial conferences in alternating locations globally, bringing you the latest research updates, policy changes, and insights from both clinical practice and patient groups.

Our Mission

The ICHG network advances research and clinical practice in hyperemesis gravidarum through collaboration with researchers, healthcare professionals, and advocacy organisations. We prioritise the integration of lived experiences to guide our research and outreach. By bridging science with real-world insights, we aim to drive meaningful progress in addressing HG with urgency and dedication.

Science. Solidarity. Solutions.

Get Involved

We believe that the quality and quantity of  hyperemesis gravidarum research can be increased through effective international collaboration and promoting patient involvement in the development of research. High quality research will ultimately benefit the women suffering this debilitating condition, the healthcare professionals charged with their care and treatment and the future generation born to affected mothers.

If you are a researcher with an interest in hyperemesis gravidarum then please get in touch and tell us about your project. If you are a funder looking to support research into this under-resourced area then please also get in touch.
